Dear participants of the ARBÖ Kärnten Radmarathon Bad Kleinkirchheim on 02.06.2024,

There are only a few days left until the start of the 12th edition of the classic in the Nockberge mountains. As the organisation team, we look forward to welcoming you. We will do our best to ensure that the event is a great experience for all cycling enthusiasts. 

To make your time at the ARBÖ Radmarathon Bad Kleinkirchheim as easy as possible, we would like to summarise the most important information in advance: 

  1. Arrival: All information about travelling to Bad Kleinkirchheim can be found at:

  2. Programme before the event: We offer an extensive programme on the Saturday before the marathon.
    Especially recommended on Saturday:
    Nockbike MTB-Trophy -  at 11 am in Feld am See
    KRONE Kids Race - at 2 pm at the Kaiserburgbahn cable car
    ARBÖ Licht ins Dunkel Challenge with world champion Adrian Pertl and others - at 3.15 pm at the Kaiserburgbahn cable car
    Followed by a great bike show by Stefan Müller

  3. Accommodation: If you are still looking for accommodation, we have put together the following suggestions:

  4. Race office/race numbers: Please take € 10,-- as a chip deposit to the race office. We also recommend that you collect your race number on Saturday afternoon if possible, as there may be longer waiting times on Sunday. Further information can be found at:

  5. Conditions of participation: All participants must adhere to the current road traffic regulations (StVO 1960).
    Only use the right-hand lane
    Cutting corners is prohibited
    You must stop at traffic lights and stop signs
    Roundabouts must be passed correctly

  10. Feeding zones: There will be several refreshment stations along the route with high-quality sports food and drinks.
    Anyone who disposes of waste improperly during the event will be disqualified without exception! These regulations will be checked by the race director, marshalls, official motorcyclists and marshals as race participants.

  11. Finish: After crossing the finish line, please have your timing chip removed by the volunteers in the finisher area. You will then immediately receive € 5,-- of the chip deposit back. The easiest way to get from the finisher area to the car park is to take the footpath along the Twengbach.

  12. Shower facilities are available for all participants at the Römerbad. Your start number is your entry ticket.

  13. Lunch: With your lunch voucher (enclosed with your race number) you can get a pasta dish in the Kultursaal on Sunday from 12 - 3 pm.

  14. The award ceremony starts at 2.00 pm in the Kultursaal. The top 3 riders in each category will receive great prizes.

  15. At the end of the event at 2.30 pm there will be a big raffle among all participants present. Don't forget to put your ticket (enclosed with your starting documents) in the lucky box before the raffle begins.
